Well, it looks like the rain has settled in. While we didn’t get to do much exploring today, we though we would share our recent trip to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro.

We enjoyed ourselves so much! Hands down, my favorite part was the polar bears! It is my favorite animal and not many zoos have them so when we come across one, I really enjoy it! We stayed at their exhibit for at least 35 minutes. One was very active and putting on a show for us in the pool with his ball.

All the animals looked healthy and had lots of room to move around. They also had a lot of interactive and informative things along the walking paths to see/do. We all had a great time!
