Randall Oaks Zoo in West Dundee, Illinois

Today we went to Randall Oaks Zoo, it was pretty small, but it was still nice! The outside was based on feeding, it was very fun! They had animals such as Goats, Cows, and alpacas. The goats were especially cute because they would stick there heads through the fence, and I even saw one smiling! 😂It was a very nice place, they had metal food bowls that you could pour the food in to, then hold on tightly as the animals ate it. When we went into the barn, there was a gift shop. At the cash register desk, there was a grey and white cat. His name is Toby, and he was so cute. He was just laying down, but still he was sooo fuzzy!😺There was also a black bunny hopping around on a leash, its name was Carrot!

They had special activities, there was one at noon, they were training a Clydesdale. They had Bobcats, different birds, an owl, a hawk, turtles, cows, and many more. They even had a giant rabbit! The Emu was pretty cool, as long as he wasn’t too close🤣😂 They also had a petting zoo, that included brushes to brush the goats.

It didn’t take long to walk through, there were alot of kids from daycares though. There was a big playground that we didn’t go to, also Tons of picnic tables with grills. Overall, I think it was based more for little kids, but I still enjoyed the feeding!
