Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park in Manchester, Tennessee

On our way to Florida we made a pit stop in Manchester Tennessee for the night. Manchester has a lot of beautiful parks and waterfalls so we really wanted to make sure we stopped and checked atleast one out.

We all agreed that old stone Fort state archeological park seemed really cool and the reviews were great so we headed over and we were not disappointed. The park has so much great history and a lot of information that you can read on the signs around the park. They even have burial mounds from the native Americans. They had 3 different waterfalls along the trail and a small, but cute gift shop where we picked up a T-shirt and a little trinket for Ralia’s room!

Salam got some really great videos and pictures of the waterfalls. It would be a great place to bring a pinic and a book and spend the day by the waterfall.
