Boy, time has gotten away from us! After a short break from work, I picked up another contract. Unfortunately, this contract is in Illinois which means our plans for a warm winter disappeared 😅. Currently, we are just finishing up my contract in Peoria, IL.

It has been cold here but we’ve done our best to safely explore! We went to the Peoria zoo. It is a small zoo but it was nice to get out. We went during the weekd and actually were the only people in the whole zoo! All the indoor exhibits were closed but most of the other animals were out enjoying the sun like us.
