Shingle Creek Park

We made it to Florida, and I’m taking a month off work to enjoy some time with the family. So we headed down to Florida to get some sunshine because we were tired of the cold, snowy Illinois weather. We landed in Central Florida and decided to get out and enjoy the sunshine.

We went to Shingle Creek Park in Kissimmee. It was one of the nicest parks we have been to. It has miles of walking/biking trails that are wide and paved. There are several bridges you can walk over and the scenery was so pretty.  We ended up walking 4 miles! They have kayaking that you can do on the creek, but we just walked and enjoyed watching the kayakers as we passed the creek.

You might even see some wildlife! We saw a few birds along the way.
