Port St. Lucie Botanical Garden

I like to go to botanical gardens to see local plants and flowers as they are so different from each location we visit. Florida is so warm and humid, we weren’t surprised to see a cacti section! However, there were so many other types of plants too! It didn’t take too long to walk through but it is free to get in. We took a picnic lunch with us and although they didn’t have many picnic tables, we were able to eat at one of the many tables and chairs on the patio so it worked out perfectly.

Lots of interesting lizards around the garden grounds
I feel like I need one of these planters now 😂

Right next to the garden is the Riverwalk! We actually found it on accident when we saw a car pull in while we were in the garden. After the garden, we decided to follow the road to see where the car had parked and it was the Riverwalk! It was really humid that day so we didn’t walk the whole thing, but it looked like it went on for quite a while. It looked pretty new and well kept. It was nice and wide and very clean.
