Loggerhead Park

We visited Loggerhead Park in Jupiter, FL. It is a turtle rescue organization. They have a place where you can drop baby turtles if you find them on the beach and they also take in injured turtles. They provide surgery, rehab, and any other services to get the turtle ready for release.

They also provide education to show the importance of keeping the beaches clean and how trash can affect wildlife.

They are doing a large construction project right now where they are building concrete in-ground enclosures for the injured turtles. During our visit, they had 6 turtles and several babies.

It is free to get in, donations are accepted. They also have a large gift shop to get all sorts of items and help the rescue!
